About YK Prague
This program is designed for Bochurim ages 16 - 17, looking to spend their summer in a Chassidishe atmosphere, infused with Shlichus and learning, while enjoying and exploring the city of Prague and surroundings.

The program is under the auspices of Rabbi Manis Barash, and led by Rabbi Folly Dubov & Rabbi Mendy Barash, along with staff members, experienced מגידי שיעורים and משפיעים.

Nestled in the heart of the Old Jewish Quarter, steps from the Maharal’s Shul, YK Prague offers a special experience for serious bochurim looking to learn behasmada, with great conditions and experienced staff.

A full 4-week program that includes trips, sports, activities and farbrengens and shiurim from visiting Shluchim.Aside from the individually tailored curriculum, talmidim will use the opportunity to immerse themselves in mivtzoim and hafatza on a daily basis. Thousands of Jewish tourists flock the city, giving the YK a unique opportunity of Shlichus like no other.

Dates & Tuition

The Yeshivas Kayitz begins on Monday, 11 Tammuz/July 7 at 4:00 PM. YK ends on Wednesday, 12 Av/ August 6 at 9:00 AM. Tuition is $3699, exc. airfare and mandatory health insurance.

Facility

The YK Prague campus boasts spacious rooms with a large Zal & gym. 3 nutritious meals are served daily, catered by the YK chef. The campus is situated in the heart of the Old Jewish quarter, with views to the Maharal's shul & Vltava river.

Activities & Trips

The 4 week program is filled with sports & exciting trips. YK Prague offers a dynamic and engaging program tailored for every bocher. Fascinating excursions to iconic landmarks in Prague and beyond - Vienna, Krakow, & more, providing an unforgettable blend of fun and exploration.

Seider

The learning at Yeshivas Kayitz is the main focus, featuring Chassidus shiurim by the YK Mashpia. The Seider Iyun curriculum emphasizes איכות, while Seider Girsa focuses on כמות. Every day ends with a Seder Chassidus בחברותא.

B"H Prague is a safe city, and the Yeshivas Kayitz campus is located in the secure Jewish Quarter, with regular police and security presence.
Any smartphone will be collected upon arrival. Talmidim will have access to designated phones for contacting their families.

All information such as transportation to YK from the airport, packing & ספרים list, roommate form and more will be sent upon acceptance.

Learning is the cornerstone of our program. Our morning Girsa Seder focuses on כמות and acquisition of an entire Masechta, culminating in a grand Siyum at the end of the summer.  Throughout the day, Talmidim will also participate in engaging Halacha and Chassidus Shiurim given by our experienced Magidei Shiurim.
Aside from outings & trips throughout the week, YK will be going on 2 grand trips during the summer iy"h.
YK provides three fresh, nutritious meals daily.  The kosher mini-market will also be open during designated hours specifically for YK Talmidim.
